Gyro Gyro is a Greek sandwich specialty. A proper Greek gyro is made with meat cut off a big cylinder of well-seasoned lamb or lamb and beef as it is cooked on a slowly rotating vertical spit. Hence the name gyro (like the circular motion of a gyroscope). The sandwich is made from strips of the warm meat on heated or grilled pita bread and topped with tzatziki and tomato, and folded or rolled into a wrap. The correct Greek pronunciation is “yee-rohs”.

All sandwiches are served with choice of fries, side salad, soup of the day, avgolemono, coleslaw, fruit, seasonal vegetables (raw, steamed, or grilled). Greek roasted potatoes, gigantes, fasolakia, or rice pilafi.
